Brahminy Kite


Brahminy Kite, ( Haliastur Indus ) , called "Krishna Parunthu" in Malayalam. It is believed to be Garuda, the sacred bird of Lord Vishnu.
Called Elang Bondol , it is the mascot of Jakarta.
